And I'm also guessing toenails falling off is not a good sign? :-\

no, it usually means there was some sort of fungal infection that killed the nail in the nailbed.

I can top that! One of ours passed this morning while sitting on her walker while the caregiver was changing over her catheter bag. They were having a pleasant conversation! About the weather! And then... not so much. Today was GRAND I tell you!
