UGH YOU GUYS
...so starting the torrent for the second Sherlock ep half an hour after it came out was not one of my brightest ideas, apparently? :|a
Also, I have to say, my favorite part of the entire first ep was how people would go, WHAT AN ADORABLE COUPLE YOU ARE and John would be all I AM NOT DATING THIS NUTCASE, THX EVER SO. ...to make it more hilarious it's mostly people who know Sherlock? LIKE HIS BROTHER WHO IS STRANGELY OBSESSED WITH SHERLOCK'S PERSONAL LIFE. Which apparently Moffat is claiming they weren't actually gay for each other or something but I don't know, dudes, I don't know. Anyway Watson's primary objection seems to be along the lines of DO I LOOK LIKE I ENJOY PUTTING IT IN THE CRAZY? -- AND I JUST MET HIM FOR GOD'S SAKE and not anything else. Plus then Sherlock never contradicting or correcting them -- and when it does sort of come up, his reasoning appears to be essentially 'I would be a lousy boyfriend' and not 'I only bang birds'.
Today was pretty much balls at work (two short) but after work I wandered over to Knit/Purl and Sandy K made good on her promise to give me one of the new Staccato varigated skeins for untangling one of them for her a month or so ago. It's called Twin Set but it actually looks like a rose garden -- which is something I like in a varigated yarn. I like floral colors for whatever reason. ANYWAY it is very beautiful and it is mine and I think I shall make mitts out of it.
