Because this is apparently the season of new accounts, I now have a Dreamwidth, same username. I'm not moving, really, since most of the things/people I still lurk are still here on Livejournal, but I'm going to keep it as a backup in case everyone does suddenly move, or lj devours itself and becomes unusable or something. Tumblr I am finding to be good for looking at scads of fanart with no context (and frequently without sources) but useless for actually connecting or achieving anything. I don't know, it still seems confusing and kind of stupid to me. DW feels empty, but if lj inconveniences fandom too much I'm sure it will pick up eventually. Now I just have to wait for importing to go through.
Really, the only reason I'm doing this now is A) so that I'll already have a backup in case something happens and B) free signups require less effort than asking someone for an invite code and I am lazy.
