So apparenlty if a child rides his bike into your car when you're pulling out of a private driveway (and not even on the pavement) that's makes you a reckless driver and 'scum'.

I think the 'scum' bit has shocked me more than the poor kid crashing into me.  Who, as far as I could tell, was fine apart from being shaken.
