reread the books.

they are all intended to have significant christian parallels to them.

the book and the film draw heavily from the whole easter/resurrection story.

the most obvious represetation of this being the crucifiction of aslan, who represents god/christ throughout the series.

yeah. basically i know all of this only because i reread all the books in lieu of the movie and from mt catholic upbringing. meh.
