It occurred to me today how hard it would be to reveal to my parents (or friends for that matter) that I was a nudist. I'm not by any means (in fact, I have trouble taking a shirt off while alone let alone my entire wardrobe), but how would you "come out" to the average, conservative, middle-class set of parents?

I suppose for various reasons...peace of mind, if you happened to buy a house at a nudist colony, for a truthful answer to the question, "Why are you always busy?"...pretty much as a generality for why gay people feel it's important to tell people.

i think id come home to visit one weekend without any bags. id show up in the kitchen one day, nude you know, making a sandwich and when my mom or dad came in theyd say "WHAT are you doing, put on some clothes!!" and id say, "Oh yeah, im a nudist. Hey, can you hand me the turkey" theyd look at me like i was crazy and id reply "OHHHH!! im sorry, did you want a sandwich too?"
