Yes!

Once you have gone for a period of time without the aid of computers, TV. Music, or movies, you start to want to stay that way... but I don't. I have finally gotten to a computer.. so now I can update and tell all of my great stories that have so much meaning behind them for all of the people that wish to read. Maybe afterwards, I'll go around telling all of my little friends about it, so that they will look at it and comment and try to make me feel a false since of comfort and safety, to coverr that fact that they are actually using me, abusing me, and stealing my life force from me, in order to make themselves feel beter. All of this hurt, on acount of a need for self fulfilment in the eyes of others, and pretty soon, BOOM, we're all dead, haveing the very essence of our life force sucked from our vains with the cruelty and malice of a thousand ages. All fine and dandy, but you know what, life, it is too short to waste on words, and as I would rather move my fingers than move my lips, and save my breath for those who trully matter, I'm going to type. Anyways, small momments of immortality are better than life times of averageness, because thats all life is, a series of moments, and those moments add up and are put into livejournals for "friends" to read, so we all die young.
Track has finally begun, and we have had 2 races. Last saturday we had a pretty big race. There were about 26 teams, and it was hardcore. We were givin the chance to meat the great Justin Gatlin, and I got to shake his hand. totally frickin' sweet. We also got john hancocks, and some got pictures, but thats besides the point. My previose times for my track races where 5:25 for my mile, and about a 12:20 for my 2 mile. That saturday changed that, as I was put int he fast heat of a mile, and was horrofied. I hadn't been in the fast heat of anything since middle school, except the 4X8, but thats a relay so it's different. Let me tell you, when I saw the slow heat finish, and the slowest guy ran a 5:15, well, I was afraid. Fast heat, Slowest time, and what do I turn around and do? Bust ass and get a 5:05, thats what. Yes, I now say taht I'm, hard core. After that, I wasn't all that sure that I would even finish my 2 mile, much less do any good, but I did it anyways. 11:41 was my time, and boy was I happy. The next day, I was supposed to run the half marathon with Willy, but things happened, and I was unable to meet up with him. Rather, I actually got there 10 minutes late, so I waited till the clock was at 10 flat, and I took off. It only took about a mile and a half before I began to catch up to the walkers and joggers, and I was angry. I kept running and passed a friend of mine named Kasce's mom, and she said that the girls where just a little bit ahead. It only took about another 5 minutes to catch up to them, and then some time. So once i finally passed them, I only had to find Willy, but being just like me in distance, he was pretty far up, and so I didn't end up catching him. I got to the 6.5 mile mark at 42 minutes, and was happy, and I came back, still speeding up, and I almost got him. I only ended up being 4 minutes behind him, and yet 6 ahead by the end. If I had my time officially, and was in the run, then I would have come in 40 place, and would have kicked butt, what with my 1:31:3 for mile 13.1 miles. That, for those who don't know, is just less than 7 minutes per mile. after the race, I talked with Kasce for a while, then met up with Kaiman. Then I saw Brett, who had done the 5k in 22 minutes. He was a lot faster than I would have thought, and it made me happy to see that he had done so well. Then I offered to get him a job, and I think that he might take it once the summer starts. After I was done with them, I went up to the square records shop to see if No-ell was there, and ended up seeing Ci-Ci. I brought her some food up from the feild down below, and then we hung out for a while. After that, I left and went in search of my own food. Thats when I saw Justin at his place of work, and we talked for a while. Then I left them, and went to take a nap. On the way, I bumped into William, Gerad, and Dezi, and we walked around for a while. We all went and ate lunch, I treated everyone to frozen drinks, and then we sat at a table telling stories. The whole time, Will kept trying to give me a ciggerate, but wouldn't accept my challenge to fight me in the ampa-theater.
Well, that was last weekend, and it left me quite drained, so all week I was dead tired. None of my muscles worked, I was constantly tired, and I couldn't run for my life. Luckily for me, I was able to heal enough for today, and when it came down to the 2 mile, I was feeling good. Unfortunatly for the runners, the wind was at a steady gust, quite litterally, the sun had been down nearly an hour, and it was butt cold. It was a race I will remmember for a long time, as it was the first time thatg I ever placed and got points in a varsity match on my own. My goal was to get 5th place, and before the race, Devin and me joked at how it would come down to the very end, and I would be in 5th, and all of a sudden some guy would come out and get me, and I would be inb 6th and not meet my goal, because I'm unlucky like that. We started the race, and everyone was going a lot faster than I thought that they would be. O, before I go on anymore, Coach Parker, the one that I think hates me, came up to me, and told me quite sternly that we needed the points, and that it was up to me to get them.. bah. So we started the race off, and about 3 laps into it, the pack that I was in began to split up into 2 parts, and the part that I was in boxed me in and slowed down. I went about a half lap before I got fed up and got away from them. To do so however, I had to slow down to get out from the middle of them, and then go to the outside lanes and kick it up to pass them. This was hard, as It was on a turn that we did this, so I ended up runnning extra. Then I caught up to the next group, and used them by playing with them, and tricking them into doing what I wanted, and by doing so, I was able to go a lot faster. I would let them run into the wind as my sheild to pull myself along, and then I would run fast once we were out of the wind to make the pace pick back up. It was pretty much give and take until the last 2 laps, where I started trying to take the lead on the windy side of the track, and I got up to the guy who was in 1st in our group and 3rd over all. The two of us took off and left the others behing us. I decided to over take him just before the last lap, and so I ran on his inside right at the line and took 3rd place, so I could get the medal. I only got about 100 meters into the lap before the guy started his final kick, and passed me. I was quite upset, because I'm not fast enough to beat someone in a kick, but you know what, 4th was ok with me, so I started doing what I could to finish the race. Then, with only just over 100 meters left, another guy passed me, and out kicked me. BAH! Thats when I remembered what...wow.. almost just said Ruthie just then....Devin and I had talked about, and so I looked behind me for the next guy who would steal 5th from me, and there was nobody even close to me, any where. We had opened up a huge gap, and nobody was catching up. I finished the race at 11:23, and was quite content. another nearly 20 seconds off of my 2 mile, which was just like my 40 second drop the week before. My race was finished, and when I talked to Devin, it turned out that, not only did he not lap me, (this was the second time that I hadn't let him lap me, and I'm happy, cuz I don't like people cutting me off) but he hadn't been able to do so good with the wind. Appearantly, I could run much faster with the wind being gone, which will help on tuesday at my race up at the school.Still beat Brandon though, so now, My goal is to break 11 flat, which would make me quite happy. My mile, now that I know I can do it, will hopefully be in the sub 5 minute range. Who knows, maybe I'll give pate a run for his money on it, but not going to make promises, or bets on that. Well, now that my story is over, I need to go to bed, here in my Hollywood Nocturne.
Go ahead and leave a comment if you'd like, and if you see any parts left, go ahead and take what you want from my shattered heart. Those named are trusted.

P.S. Sophia, Mae, and last but certainly not least, Brittany, You three just didn't work your way into running in anyway, but your still trusted anyways. Same with Mike, Justin, Robby, and Jacob....Done.
