Day off.

Well.
let me just say it is both an honor and a privledge to be signin my graduation card.
it is also a bit scary as hell.
on one hand, i went through college without really learning anything.
on the other hand, i will doubtlessly be one of those people who consider Borders a career option.
(let us not kid outselves here. Borders is a unique company, much like the parent company, Waldenbooks. and the way the economy is shaping up, it is estimated that you will need a college diploma for entry level jobs. which is a flag i will wave until i die. [yeah, that's right. a writing diploma. screw you.])

anyway, not being so hasty, i still have a semester to go. a semester where every week is finals week.

I have new shoes. sensible shoes.
what they represent pisses me off more than actually wearing them.
and the fact that I have to keep shining them when they have scrapes.
it is like having a child on my feet.
asking for griddlecakes, and going to bed without.
why did i ever come into the purchase of these shoes.

it is hard nuts, this life.
because though i do not feel essentialy as mature as i should be, i am a smart upstanding individual.
i do things my way, or so i have been told.
that and a dollar can get me a cup of coffee at a greasy spoon style resturaunt.

oh, and yes.
my glorious return to college will be on sunday.
believe me, a marathon of ren and stimpy is glorious.
maybe with some pop.
huzzah.

also, my christian band of the moment is Roper.
the old FIF frontman, who I liked in highschool, put his own solo project together.
he's good people, and he will share his cheesefries with you at cornerstone while talking about comics.
