it seems like the average way to be, at work or in life in general, is neurotic. all the people everywhere throwing fits over every kind of unimportant, like a small number of unwanted bread crumbs, or the awkward placement of a rubbish bin. I, like most, find my work mind numbingly dull, degrading, and often quite surreal (but evidently you got to eat). (I'm going to start recording some of the conversations in this place and use them as fodder for my upcoming, never released, never written, best seller.)
in other news I'm not sure if the The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus will be a total cock up or amazing cinematic art. but I know in my heart of hearts that the planned Barbarella remake will feel weird and wrong, and that an adaptation of a Brave New World with Leonardo DiCaprio will miss any point it tries to make.
it's saturday night and I want to dress up and go to the moving pictures.
