The whole ride home I can't bare to not feel her-somehow.
She looks at me from the passenger seat, her eyes etching into my skin.
She is mine, always. Simple.
As the car comes to a stop, I look over at her-
My wife, my soulmate, my forever.
A smile forms on my face and suddenly I feel those familiar butterflies.
"Do you trust me Jenny?"
"Well I would hope so Emma, I just married you!"
"Close your eyes and don't you dare peek."
I gently place the shaw she was wearing around her head, covering her eyes.
"Do you still trust me?"
"Yes, of course I do. Why are you starting the car again?"
"You will see when we get there."
I mentally tell her where I am taking her-
I am taking you back to where it all began.
Starting with the first day you told me your name-
Jenny, the name that will forever be the name on my lips.
I pull the car into a space in front of the school-
"Stay there, I will help you out."
I rush over to the passenger door and open it, keeping my eyes on her.
"Take my hand."
She takes my hand and pulls me into a hug that lets me know exactly what she is feeling.
I love you more than any one person should love....you have my heart, my soul, my all.
I lead her into the classroom where she turned my life upside down and covered me in feelings.
I slowly take the fabric from around her head and reveal where we are.
"Why exactly are we at our old school Emma on our first night married?"
"Well, I thought we could come back to where we first started."
"I love you Emma but seriously this is our honeymoon and we are standing in a classroom....."
"I remember being so nervous when you introduced yourself to me, you were the most stunning woman I had ever laid eyes on."
"You were just adorable and had the sweetest smile that made me want to be around you even though I didn't know you."
She slowly walks towards me, getting as close as she can-
Her hands grip my hips, letting me know we need to hurry on to the next stop.
I put my lips to her ear, "close your eyes."
I hear her breath hitch and smile, knowing I'm driving her crazy.
We walk just down the hall until we get to the couch-
The couch where I gave into her and allowed myself to feel.
"You can open your eyes now."
I sit down on the couch, smiling.
When I look over at her she is smiling that smile-
"I can't believe I kissed you while everyone was sleeping next to us!"
"I'm glad you did though, you made me crazy being that close to me all night."
I smile shyly at her, suddenly feeling embarassed.
She scoots closer to me and her lips dance across mine-
"Emma, I don't think I can make it home, I want you."
"Jenny, you are just going to have to learn how to wait. Now close your eyes."
She reluctantly closes her eyes and softly grumbles as I lead her back to the car.
I can't help but stare at her while she is like this- ansy.
I try quickly to get back to her house-
As I pull up, a grin appears on her face and she begins to unfasten her seatbelt.
"Don't you dare think about peeking! I will guide you to where we are going."
As I open her car door and reach for her hand I can't help but to lean in and kiss her lips.
I quickly pull away, hurrying to get through the front door.
"We have to go up stairs, so behave yourself and walk slowly."
I say a silent thank you as we make our way into Ben's room, that we have the house all to ourselves.
Bringing her over to the bed, I direct her to stay put and to not dare peek.
I feel myself being pushed down on the bed very swiftly.
She looks at me, making time go by slowly-
Each touch lingers on my skin as her scent invades the space around us.
Everything hits me and before I can stop myself, I tear forms and slowly escapes my eye.
"Emma? Are you okay? Am I doing something wrong?"
I smile remembering our first time and how I asked that exact question.
"No, everything is fine Jenny, I was just finally getting comepletely swept up."
We shift and I am on top Jenny, taking a mental picture of this moment.
Jenny's hair is tousled, her cheeks are beautiful shade of pink, and her scent has blended into mine.
Gently we start the dance of a lifetime, holding on to each other every step of the way.
