A day of losing items
Went to visit Megan down in Rockville today, we rode the metro into DC to go to an inDesign discussion/conference thing. It was kinda boring (to me), but hanging out with Megan was fun, there was tons of free food, and I had a book to read during it :) I finally got my B&N package in, so I yanked out Lost at Sea to read.
Unfortunately I got separated from my book (I think I remember where) and we left to go to the Chinatown station before I remembered and we head back. It was only a block, but they had closed down before I got back. I was so mad at myself for not putting it back in my bag and dragging everyone around like that augh. I'm going to send them an email tonight about it, maybe they'll mail it to me..? That would be awesome if they could, since otherwise it's another 1.5hour trip to get it. gdit I can't believe I forgot it I didn't even finish reading it and I JUST GOT IT.
Even better: before I left, I was frantically looking around for my glasses. They were in none of the usual spots, but I didn't have time to go digging, so I grabbed an old pair and left. When I got home, I found them sitting on my bed, warped and missing their lenses. The dog found them. Fucking dog, this is the second pair of mine she's gotten to. I don't even know where I could have left them that she could have gotten them, but I have a suspicion that I left them on my nightstand next to my bed, and while I was out, she was allowed inside of my room and she nabbed them. I am so pissed, you don't even know.
In other news, I have a huge box from my media crack dealers which I need to rip open, and my first day of school is tomorrow!

The Solar System --- MW 3:30 - 4:45p
Solar System Lab --- M 7 - 9:50p
Fundamental Oral Communication --- TuTh 11 - 12:15p
Intro Psych --- TuTh 2 - 3:15p
Fridays off, which is nice, but work haaaates me right now for this schedule ahaha
I think it's going to be an interesting semester. I'm bummed I have to take intro psych AGAIN, but I didn't do so well at it first time around ;;
