Day 2
So today was my second day of work. Apparently yesterday I worked a little too hard, because no one had anything for me to do this morning, so I stared off into space waiting for the phone to ring. Occasionally I would help tag jewelry but that was about it. The highlight was talking to the manager, which I decided I would like to have her job and be like her when I grow up. We are walking around the warehouse and she knows everyone's name (about 75 employees) and chats with each of them about something, informs one of them he is getting a raise, which I'm sure makes his day. She comes and goes as she pleases but she also works hard. This afternoon (yes today I worked from 8-5) I was finally given a challenge, I say that, because I wasn't able to finish it in 30 minutes and I will have to continue tomorrow. FINALLY!!
Did I also mention that I have a desk in the middle of a room, where the four most important people's offices open into. I feel like they are constantly watching me, which is quite uncomfortable. I cannot think straight and my brain hurts, not from overuse, but from boredom I do believe.
