Life is nuts
I figure I should update, since it’s been awhile. Life has been good; I've spent the past two weekends away from campus, which means life has been amazing. Last weekend we went to Winter Park, a ski resort. I stayed in condos with 5 friends where there was a kitchen, a table and a living room. I went skiing with Jenn and Mallory, which was quite the ordeal. I got a 15% discount for flirting with the cashier and we were told we were high maintenance by the a ski worker. We are all beginners and had fun cross country skiing and sliding on our sides down the mountain.
I just got back from a business frat party, which I'm pledging. I was put in charge of a group competition, where we are selling drinks, like in Apprentice. So I made a list of everything we had to do and I brought it to the party to give to my group (which is all males). They completely trashed all my ideas and plans. Given they were totally smashed, but they were like, "You can’t do this, I should just be in charge." I got the impression they were saying this because I was a girl. I was so pissed off. So now I have a shitty group, who I strongly dislike, (fat racist, sexist pigs). The good thing is that I am determined to win and prove to them they all need me, because you don’t tell me I can’t do something.
