Not so sure I want to live in either of those areas ... I hear the residents are having problems with rogue smilies attacking people on the streets.

I believe that if you are to really succeed at your goal of finishing the triathlon you need to move as far away from UBC as possible. How about the north shore? There's ample places to practice your running, biking and swimming. There is lots of room to spread out with your stuff. We have one of the lowest population densities in the GVRD. Move to the District of North Vancouver and become a healthy, active Vancouverite stereotype.
