Well, I went to go see Xmen Origns: Wolverine yesterday. My comments are below the cut, to avoid spoilers. One thing I will say to everyone, there is a short scene after all of the credits, so make sure you hang around for it.
Overall, I would say the best part of the movie is the first third, leading up to Wolverine accepting the procedure to become Weapon X. Once Wolverine gets his adamantium, the movie can still be enjoyable, but it suffers from several flaws.
1. The director loves explosians. I haven't seen so many things blow up since my last Michael Bay movie.
2. Don't expect the film to follow actual comics continuity. It's more like the writer skimmed thirty years of Wolverine comics and stuck what he liked into a blender.
3. All of the best characters either die after the first part of the movie, or become royally messed up. This seems to be the best description of this I've found so far:
On the bright side, it is much better than X-men 3. (but then, so was Howard the Duck....)
