(no subject)
so I'm getting things done! now, don't get me wrong, i still have QUITE a bit more to do but I'm making progress and it feels SO GOOD!
My tire decided to become non-cylindrical the other day. somewhat unfortunate i suppose, but it could have been A LOT worse. I'm just grateful for this wonderful relationship that my car and i have. We look after each other. even though i got a flat, i made it all the way back to Austin from Bellville and then back to my house after a doctor's appointment completely safely (no i wasn't driving all this way on a flat, it just fortunately became flat after all of this). I LOVE MY CAR. Seriously. We have a good thing going on.
So, with the help of the Shaw men (thanks so much!) i now have a donut tire on my car and i plan on going to ...somewhere tomorrow to get my flat repaired.
I also don't have the plague anymore!! yay!! Well, i suppose it wasn't as bad as all that... no, wait. it was as bad as all that for at least 2 days... Man, that was... not good. But, I'm better now and i so much appreciate my good health! And i emailed my Latin professor about the 2 days i missed due to this plague-y cold, and he agreed to make those days valid absences... as in they won't count. Again, great relief.
Now i just have to study my ass off for my last 2 finals (bio is my bane), do some xmas shopping, grocery shopping, i would love to get my room cleaned up in a very final way and then i have off for the holidays!!! I think I'll have a lot of traveling back and forth going on, but it will be so wonderful to spend time with family/friends and to have time to do ART. i miss time to do art... i really do. i love prisma colors.
