Account Status: All
Actions: Changed Comment Links, Currents & Header Link Titles
Theme: Flexible Squares (not sure if it works with other themes)
You've changed to Flexible Squares and have done the Customization of your Theme by inserting a layout code from Layout Lounge or another layout design community. You noticed that the links at the bottom of your posts say comment. You want to make them say something that reflects the new layout you've begun using. (Case in point... this journal uses thought? rather than comment and 2 thoughts rather than 2 comments.)
Here is how to change them:
1. Go to Customize Journal Style and click the Text Link on the side -
LINK 2. You will find a section called PAGE which may or may not be opened or extended. If you don't see any options you may have to click the arrow next to Page to show all the different text options you can change.
Or you will see 3 sections for different aspects of your journal such as Navigation, Entries and Comments.
3. You can change the Currents from Current Music to just Music -or something else you would like it to say- along with the Mood, Location and Friends Groups.
3. Next is the Comment links. the default in most cases is "comment" and "1 Comment // # Comment". Change just the word discuss/discussions or you will lose the functionality of this field. (example. Mine say "thoughts?" and "1 thought // # thoughts") Capitalization dis not always relevant here as at times your layout code will specify if the text should be Uppercase, Lowercase or Normal.
4. Next you can change your header links to anything you like to help reflect your layouts theme.
5. The no subject field is good if you sometimes forget to put a subject in when posting. Having a default title such as "Posting from my cell..." will ensure that your subject is the permanent link for your post. If you have a paid account you can do a custom theme for a permanent link...
see here.
6. The edit link down to the next entry option are all items that will be on the upper link bar when you are in one of your posts.
7. Skip back through the entries and forward through entries will be at the bottom of your journal and will send you back the number of entries you have on Display (which can be changed under the display link on the left).
All you have to do is save the changes you've made and they should be reflected on your journal.
