I'm sure one of these days I'll actually stay on campus for a weekend...

I'm going to a viewing today. I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to handle it...I don't like dead bodies. And if you think about the whole viewing process...doesn't it creep you out kind of ? I mean your putting a dearly departed one in an open coffin on display for everyone and their mother to see...wtf? The close family members of the deceased are too fucked up in their grief to really know or care about who is coming and going out of the funeral home so, hypothetically, any random person could just walk in and check out the body! There are sick, sick people in this world, so I just don't get it...
Maybe I'll talk to meine mutti about not going today and just going to the get together thing tomorrow...
The man who died was my aunt's (by marriage) dad...he was a really really awesome man and he's sorely going to be missed. Death sucks for the people left behind.
