Dr who?

shadowc44 said I should watch Dr Who 'The Unicorn and The Wasp' so I did. And I'm glad I did.

I do already know that Dr Who is a popular show and I have seen it, maybe once or twice, but I didn't quite "get" it until now. Haha, and it took Agatha Christie to do that! And what a fine episode that was. I lovelovelove the Doctor's take on the mystery behind Agatha's disappearance ( !!!!! ) and I lovelovelove the many shoutouts to Agatha Christie's books. Hee hee, endless night! Appointment with death! Cat among the pigeons! And oh how I love this, Death In The Clouds with that particular cover.

Do you have specific "moments" when something click and you err, see the light with regard to TV shows and books and stuff? The moment when "liked" becomes "obsessed"?

With LotR the books for instance, the moment for me was when the hobbits first met Strider at The Prancing Pony, with Strider staring at them from the corner of the common room ( needless to say I fell for Strider immediately! ).

With Scandal, it was Fitz saying - begging really - "Just one minute" to Liv and they cuddled up on the sofa, a quiet moment where they did nothing say nothing but held on to each other like it was their last time together.

With Game of Thrones, it was the final scene of the final episode of season 1 when the dragons hatched, Dany came out unhurt from the fire and Ser Jorah and everyone else kneeled down in front of her and right after that I just had to watch season 1 all over again!

And with Supernatural, well, it was a bit different with SPN because it was a fanfic, this fanfic that got me truly hooked to the show.

Back to Dr Who. Okay, so I'm not actually obsessed yet but I do get the show now. Can you think of any particular episode(s) that you think I'd like? shadowc44 had mentioned that Colin Morgan had guest-starred in an episode so I'm going to hunt that one down. Any episode with Benedict Cumberbatch in it perhaps? :D
