Summary: A retelling of the gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, vampire Castiel Collins is awakened from his tomb by down-on-his-luck author Chuck Shurley. With Chuck’s help [and blood] Castiel sets out to make a life for himself in Collinsport, restoring his old home and hopefully being reunited with the reincarnation of his former lover, Dean Winchester.
I read this and I didn't want it to end because it's just so good and Castiel as a vampire is ... sensual and the whole thing is absolutely brilliant and chilling and sweet and funny and I'd recommend it even if vampire!fic is not your cup of tea.
