I haven't watched Supernatural for quite some time but I did watch Scoobynatural and I enjoyed it very much! Brought back fond childhood memories when there wasn't any cable TV and the few TV shows that we did have were very much appreciated and loved ( unlike nowadays, dozens of TV channels, hundreds of - or so it seems like - shows and yet on

That is the dilemma with long running shows. Sadly they end up being.... I don't know if boring is the right word here but you tend to loose the feeling you had when you first started watching it and it just doesn't interest you the same way anymore. I often continue to watch shows anyway because well, habit I guess and you do remember the love you used to have for it. So you WANT to love it still. In rare cases you do end up loving it again if the writers can do their job and find the way back to the magic. That's great!
In a related topic. Now that I've started to more binge watch series more I usually end up loving whatever I watch. At least as long as I binge watch it.... once caught up and then see episodes when aired I find that they're maybe lacking. So in reality they probably wasn't that good to start with but I didn't notice it as much because when it got bad or boring you quickly get to the next episode. And I didn't really think about the epsiode as I'd perhaps would if I'd watch it "normally". TWD is a great example of this. It wasn't until S7 and I was caught up that I began to understand the complaining people had done about it. I'm not in a a hurry to watch S8. I will probably wait until I can binge watch the full season.

Now Sam and Dean really need to meet Maggie and Negan :DD (
TWD season 7 was ... tedious. It seemed to me like the writers didn't know where they were going. Most of the episodes seemed like filler episodes Season 8 is better though.
