Idjit, that's what he is but I love my idjit!Jon, so.
I have a feeling they want to make it REALLY special when Jon finally rides a dragon!
I hope hope hope they'll make that happen next week and not NEXT YEAR.
I LOVE Missandei/Grey Worm!!!!! They deserve their own happiness ♥♥♥
I'm not feeling the Jamie/Brienne love either. As friends, yes, but not more than that. Anyway, with Cersei around, Jamie wouldn't dare lol.
Have you read the theories flying around that Bran is actually the Night King? I do NOT like that and hopefully it's just that - a theory.
I think he and Daenerys are inevitable.
I did not ship them before but I do now!! I didn't ship Jon with anybody, hated Jon/Ygritte both in the book and the show. But I think the show did well in building up Jon/Dany and I'm slowy but surely shipping them. I went all eeeeeeeee every time those two are together :DD
Sorry for the late reply, I've been away from my computer for a few days!
Yes, I've been reading the theories about Bran, and I don't like them at all! There are all sorts of theories outt there about GoT, and while many are fascinating or fun to read, probably very few will be true. But it's always fun to speculate, and it's great when people can cite how they pieced their theory together!
There's a whole lot to cover in just 79 minutes this season, which means they'll probably leave a lot for next season. I still don't see how they'll wrap it up in 6 more episodes next season, unless they're all twice as long as the usual episodes!
Not King anymore though. He has already declared Dany as his queen. HA! I wonder what Sansa would say to that. I imagine Littlefinger rubbing his hands in glee.
It's KILLING me that I haven't started watching the new season. ARRRGGHHH So hard to avoid spoilers and I wanna KNOW, you know? But so far I've managed pretty well. I only know one small thing. (Aryas wolf came and went) The LJ cut is great in these times. I can comment and still not see what's under the cut. Neat! :D
I hope you'll get to watch it soooon! Things are moving at a much greater pace than before no small thanks to it being the second last season with only 7 episodes in it :(
I hope so too! The thing is I am watching this series in a "group" watch. We're not many, only 5 me included, but we all love the show and it's a fantastic experience to watch together and we discuss, and we cheer and we cry together. Before and After. *lol* We've been trying to find a date to watch since it began. It's hard! Hopefully we'll find a date soon. And hopefully we'll see more than one episode.
It's the only show I watch like this and last season I was so spoiled about everything basically and it took away from that experience. I had to bite my toungue when I just knew this or that would happen. So no. I am doing everything I can to avoid spoilers now. Especially since it's alomst over. *sad face*
I think it's awesome that you're watching with a group! My "group" consists of me and my second son who recently has started watching the show and oh boy, it does make a difference watching with a fellow fan instead of by your lonesome self!
I like watching the group reaction vids posted on Youtube. Maybe you should self-record your group watching the show, like this group for instance.
My favourite is the reaction to that Ned and Lyanna Stark's scene where they revealed that Jon was Lyanna's son. I must have watched those vids hundreds of times!
I'm trying very hard not to read any spoilers on the finale next week. I'm not even watching the trailer. But it's hard!!
That was unexpected. I loved last ep, imo one of the best eps if the season ;) It might be the only series where holywood could make scenes in the snow look real and usually they fail every time. But anyway I wonder if the spoilers for finale are true cause if they are it will be interesting to watch, lol.
Don't get me wrong. I love Jon. I call him an idiot in the most affectionate way possible. But really, does he have a death wish or something? There was simply no way he could come out of that quest/mission alive, esp when the rest have gone off with Dany.
They filmed on location, I think. That was in Iceland or Ireland and they were genuinely freezing cold.
My main problem with it was how rushed it all seemed. Arrgghh.
I haven't read any spoilers. I did come across theories saying that the Night King is actually Bran. I do NOT like that and I do hope that's just a wild theory!
