What I am happy about:

Fruit. For about a month, nothing is in season except these little yellow Korean melons, called chamoe. And you know, I like chamoe, but I like variety more. But then, watermelons started showing up. Now we've got blueberries, apricots, raspberries, cherries, those berries you make Korean "raspberry wine" out of that are definitely not raspberries, green plums (maesil), red grapes, and red plums.

SO AWESOME.

Of course, it is all ridiculously overpriced (you'd be hard-pressed to find cherries for less than 8,000 won for 500 grams, around $6-7 a pound)), but I am pregnant and therefore get to eat whatever I want, which is mainly fruit and crackers.

Also, I have completely given up on the concept of tomatoes being anything other than a fruit. I used to be kind of on the fence between the fruit and vegetable camps, but no more. Cherry tomatoes (which are called "jingle bell tomatoes" in Korean, cutest description ever) are so sweet here, they don't resemble vegetables in the least.

In other news, we met the doctor who is going to deliver our baby, and therefore had a super-detailed ultrasound, in which we could see the four-chambered view of our baby's heart, which was by far the coolest thing I have seen in any ultrasound. David's only comment was, "Wow. His nose is big. I wonder if his whole face will be western-looking, or if he will have a Korean face and just a big nose."

But I didn't really think his nose looked that big.

Guys I am tired all the time! I wake up and my whole body feels like lead. Not fun!
