I am so tired of being SO cold and so sad and not being able to do much of anything except eat very limited foods and hang around the house by myself.
Our school's "spring vacation," which is atrociously misnamed, started today. We had to say goodbye to our amazing manager who is being let go because her baby is due in a few months. Everyone is so sad about this, even though we all know her replacement, Christine, is also a delightful and responsible person.
I really really wanted to do something fun, outside of my house. So I was going to go to Lotte World with my friend Nancy, but she ended up having too many loose ends before going to the US for vacation. So I went by myself, which was actually a pretty nice time, too.
There weren't a lot of people there at 11 AM, just some pre-school field trippers, all with their names on giant neon stickers on their backs, so I didn't have to wait long to go on rides (I skipped the roller coasters, don't worry).
But the main reason I wanted to go was because there was a flower festival, with thousands of tulips and hyacinths and daffodils all planted around the amusement park. So I went to pretend it was spring. And for three hours, thank goodness, I felt like it was.
