This is going to be a very interesting week.

Yesterday was "preparation day," which means we didn't have to teach classes, but just finished up our progress reports and new syllabi for the upcoming classes. It's the end of a three-month block, which means all the classes are switching around, and two teachers (David and Chris) are finishing up and moving on, while two new teachers (Tom and Melissa) are starting.

Yesterday we also had a dinner to say hello and goodbye and also happy birthday to Juliette and Ami, whose birthdays are coming up. So they ordered pizza and fried chicken, which tasted delicious at the time but gave me a terrible stomachache. I ate very healthy today, rice and tuna and sweet potato and asian pears, and thusly feel much better.

Chris was the head writing teacher, but now that he's gone, no one has been officially named to take his place. However, since I have been around the longest of all the current writing teachers, I spent a lot of time trying to help train them and prepare them today. I hope that if I keep doing things like this they will really promote me and give me a raise. Then I would be happy.

I am going to try learning Korean a little differently this month, one of co-workers is going to teach me and Christopher three times a week, which will hopefully be better for practicing my speaking skills and reinforcing grammar in use.

Man, you know, Korean just never gets easier.

In other news, my dream of going on 미녀들의 수다 may be a bit closer, because David now knows one of the participants.

But I am still going to have to improve my skills rather dramatically first.
