Items of note:

Friday it snowed! Real snow, although only about three centimeters. Also, I met a couple who had lived in Lexington for 24 years. The woman had worked at MIT. Nice people. I think they were Chinese, they didn't have Korean accents.

I am an internet starrrrrrrrrrrr! Really, I got a temporary part-time gig as the co-teacher of an internet class for middle school students. So I went to a recording studio with this woman named Shin Young-Ju and we recorded three lessons. It was actually a lot of fun, totally different from teaching in a class, but really interesting. Young-Ju is easy to interact with too. She's been teaching internet classes for ten years so I just followed her lead.

The website is here but it's in Korean and I have no idea where I am. Also, you probably have to pay to see me. But in any case. Lots of fun.

Yesterday, in addition to going to a recording studio, I studied for SIX HOURS, three with Jiyoung and three with Carrie and her friend. And I had dinner with David. (We ordered food because we were both too tired to cook.) David started attending an airline academy on Saturday because he is hoping to get a job in the airline industry soon.

Today I went to church aaaaaand I met someone who grew up in Shrewsbury!!!! Amazing! We lamented the fall of Spag's and discussed Hebert's and the drive-in theater that was never too popular...he used to live on Bumblebee Circle. His name was Jerry. We can't be friends though cause he is only in Korea for four days, fixing a Delta airplane and then going back to Georgia, where he lives now with his wife and kids. But anyway, it was an incredible coincidence.

Then I went to Ansan to hang out with David. We ate and then we went to the movies (we saw "Yes Man" which I really enjoyed and wherein Jim Carrey learns to speak Korean). And we ate bulgogi and ddeokbokki and kimbap and then! We went to a noraebang and sang our little hearts out. Soooo much fun. Anyway. Bedtime now!
