Happy Longest Day of the Year!
I have been really motivated lately. I reorganized the bathroom shelves, and worked on the biostockroom for ages, and did all kinds of stuff like that, and now I am tired.
Last night we had a birthday celebration for Sonnet, and we went to Chili's, where we had the most AMAZING waitress. She memorized all of our orders, and who had what, and got us more water when she saw we were running out, and took away plates at exactly the right time. I was IMPRESSED. I left her a nine-dollar tip and a note on the bill. The only thing wrong with her is that she never smiled. Oh well.
Man am I tired. Work was really exhausting today. Maybe because people didn't go away until 4:40. Now kids, if you come into a resteraunt forty minutes after they close, they might act all nice and smiley and how-may-I-help-you, but they really want to WHACK you with their BROOM.
But it is as beautiful as anything outside. I went swimming briefly. Not long, because I feel unwell. I blame the cake I had for lunch.
The kids are out of school now. Amanda (my brother's girlfriend) and Cristina (the neighbor down the road) came over to swim with us. Liz is home too. So it's been quite the party down on Stoneland Road.
I might go see Anthony tonight, and I might not. I smell like seaweed.
