FAAAAAAAAAARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINA!!!!
OMG I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN ABOUT LAST NIGHT.
~Me Joe and Chris all went downtown to go see Mark Farina last night. Yeah it was 22$ to get in but shit it was SOOOOOOOOO worth every penny!!!
We get there and the DJ before Farina gets on is spinning. We walk up and stand at the front of the stage because not many people are there yet and i want to watch Farina spin. I knew it would get packed so we just stayed there til he came on. Well this DJ totally started to Train wreck. I felt bad for him b/c it wasn't just once it was like 4 or 5 times...in a row. I don't know if he was nervous about Farina or what. AS SOON AS I SAW FARINA WALK IN THE DOOR AND WALK OVER TO THE STAGE...ME AN THE WHOLE CROWD WENT CRAZY!! He is a cute little thing. He has a cute smile. He's not HOT...but he was such a nice guy. He shook hands w/ a lot of people in the crowd and even took some random guys CD and looked happy that it was given to him.
Well Chris had never even heard any of Farina's music. He had only went on the judgement that i loved him and we have the same music style and taste.
Farina starts up and i mean the whole crowd is just totally pumped and jumpin all over the place and screaming. He just drops a beat and everyone starts dancing...ME...JOE AND CHRIS can't help it we just start busting out. So we dance the WHOLE TIME...for 2 1/2 hours we couldn't stop dancing. It was sooooooooo hot in there everyone was totally drinched in sweat. It was gross at times but still it was FARINA!!
Then like halfway through his set some guys start getting Farina really fucked up. He had been drinking the whole time...then they made him smoke like 3 bowls...and he took a HUGE balloon of nitrous!! It was great...everyone was cheering him on!! He was totally fucked up and still didn't miss a beat. His set was so damn flawless it was amazing!! I had always known he was such a bad ass but it has been SO LONG since i've seen him in person it just blew me away.
I just want to thank Chris and Joe for a blast last night. We totally couldn't have had a better time anywhere else... :) :)!!!!!!!!!
I so can't wait til he comes back into town because i'll be the first one at the door :>
Also i would scream over at him while he was spining and he would look over at me and smile and give me thumbs up...it was GREAAAAAAAAAT!! :)
