I think so too. For one thing, they're SO different in age that their lives hardly overlap. The adult is very well-trained and she's a good walk-taking companion, although I'm really not supposed to exercise her too much while her stitches heal. (I'll probably end up doing a fair amount of walking anyway, though, to work off her nervous energy and keep her from picking up destructive habits.) The puppies sleep most of the time -- I take them out of their pen to run around and play for a half-hour or so at a time, and then they're ready to go back in and sleep.
