Writing Journal? Why?
Those of you who have been referred to this journal may be aware that I already have an existing livejournal account as ayesakara. However, since that journal is f-locked, I decided to open a fiction-only journal for posting my Queer as Folk fanfiction and make it public. I've written in one other fandom before I found the world of QAF 2 years ago, and that was Star Trek Voyager. However, I am not very much active there anymore, at least not as a writer, and thus, all my Voyager stuff is confined to my site here.
The reason I felt the need to start this journal was because... *someone* talked me into joining NANOWRIMO. *yelps at severina2001* So I figured, the only way I could maybe try to work through a somewhat coherently-plotted novella in one month was if I wrote a certain number of words everyday. And shared it with the public.
*EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK*
*Gulps* So that's what I am gonna do. Starting from tomorrow, I am gonna post daily in this journal a minimum of 1700 words a day, and hope that by the time the 30 days are over, I will have something resembling a not so horrible 50,000 words+ story in my hand.
I'll try to avoid any intentional suckage but can't promise anything. :D
But first, I am gonna take this opportunity of finally opening a public writing journal, and post all the QAF stuff I've written so far--which frankly isn't much to speak of. Only, um, 4 stories. Yep, not much.
