caramel apples and cotton candy
today was something that i've needed. i get pent up with so much, fairly easy. jess and i went to a carnival in pasedena with jamie and her two kids, brianna and nick. something about the innocent fun of all the rides and games uplifted my spirit completely. we went on most of the rides twice. the swings are my favorite. i got to relax, look up at the spinning sky, and talk to the big guy. in the company of jamie's children, i watched them experience things that i had at their ages. it made me want to cry everytime they would wave as they went around in their little car ride, i remember doing that!
