(no subject)
This has been an exceptional weekend. I left Thursday at 7:10pm drove all the way to Asheboro to pick up my Bridget at a random gas station where my aunt dropped her off. We got back to Charlotte and were sitting at the Cuisine Malaya bar to pick up Kyaw at 9:37. In case you don't know- that is a fucking NASCAR record. (Props to myself;) Friday we had lunch at San Remo and dropped into Value Village to by books for her mom's bookstore. Sara, I gave those bitches an evil look just for you ;) We rented Euro Trip b/c Bridget and I backpacked through Europe and it is one of the most realistic hilarious depictions of what it's really like, that I have ever seen. We laughed our balls off then had a glorious dinner at Red Bowl, where Bridget so graciously bought my dinner. Over to my friend Lairds to hang out and then my cousin Sarah drove up and I met her to follow me back to Lairds. Again, we laughed our balls off b/c Laird's dog is fucking huge and horny and was humping us so much that we couldn't carry on a conversation. We got Kyaw at 11 and went to Lava for a love potion number nine which the bartenders have taken from Tonic to make there now. Best drink of on earth with cinnamon and nutmeg on top of liquor. Yum! We partied all night. Got Sarah home by 3:30. She had to get up at 7 to drive to High Point and make flower arrangements for a wedding at 10am. Tough girl. It was so nice to my 2 favorite girls in one place.( My mind nods off to Kid Frost singing in Puerto Rican accent "It's a family affair...")
Many many cigarettes later it is Sunday morning and my goal is to get my ass over to the Lowes Motor Speedway and spend the day with one of my true loves MUSCLE CARS! It likes I'm going it alone, but that means there will be no one to bitch at me when I stare at a car in amazement for hours.
I gotta have Bridget to Greensboro by 6pm where Azalea will meet us and take her the rest of the way back to her mom's in Raleigh. Teamwork. I love it!
Kyaw and I got up this morning and had a great talk about life, love, work, family, money, stress, positivity, and hope for the future. Here's to making every day we have on this earth, the best one possible!!!! So cheers to all my livejournal friends. Live it up kids, it might be all you got!
