I love being here in Madison thus far for summer. It is really nice being so independent, not having anyone else around to tell me what to do (even though at home I don't really get told what to do and then am ecpected to do it...) But, I like it. I love hoe easy Madison can be navigated via bike. I love my bike. Bike riding is good for me and I am actually glad that it takes 20-25 minutes to bike fast to work. It is a nice garuanteed workout before and after work. Being is Madison I am so relaxed and stress free. I love the multiple venues of free entertainment (or public places I can go and entertain myself for free). For example, right now I am sitting on the Terrace at the MU getting free wireless (as a student) right next to the Lake. How perfect, no?
Work is going very well. I am really liking Christine the girl I work with. She is really fun, I like how open she is and how trusting she already is with me. I love when people find me trust worthy. :) Christine and I have really found a system for musical entertainment during the morning hours when if we listened to the radio (104.1 cause nothing else worth listening to comes in well) we would have to bear listening to "Connie and Fish in the morning" possibly the worst radio show on earth. Honestly, they need to be fired or need new material, asap. So, instead we listen to some cds we brought in from 7-10 and then turn the radio back on after the morning show is over (thank the Lord for the cd player on our radio). Suprisingly enough listening to the radio as opposed to cds makes the time pass quicker. All of the talking/commercials to break up the constant music is actually worth it...and all of those times when I would listen to music while driving I cursed at the lack of continuous music...
I really have the apartment in a mess with all of my misc. papers and other stuff that I just through in boxes from my desk at the regent. I really need to begin organizing/trashing it all. I also need to start packing up the stuff that I don't need here over the summer and that I won't need in Ecuador. All of the sort will be sent home soon to be stored in my room at my Dad's. I think it quite odd that my only room left WW is at my Dad's and not my Mom's, who would have guessed? I guess Alan just finally talked my mom into finally kicking out the unwelcoming biotch. Haha...to imaging Alan calling me a bitch, I love it.
I started knitting another set of socks. I truly loving making socks. I am suck a fan. Today I was contemplating that reality-factor of making tons of socks and one saturday selling them to a vendor to sell at the farmer's market...or just selling them myself...but, I don't think that I would make any profit if the fee for a spot is expensive...who knows. Oh, dreams...one day I will start my sock selling business...perhaps i will raise my own sheep, spin my own yarn, and die it such pretty colors too! Ohh!!! hehe I am a dork. I think I will try to make a sweater this summer too. I have two new pretty knitting books from Barnes and Nobles. :) This excites me.
Off to continue knitting my sock (the heel to be specific--its the best part, I suppose not as fun as the toe.) Chao
