Thoughts 'bout religious shit.
1. Do you believe in a higher power of any kind?
I fucking hate questions like this. I don't know. Never was done really raised in a religious household, even with the grandparents, who stereotypically are gon' be more religious than parents and shit. So I don't really hold with the God thing. Just don't make sense in a lotta ways, and I ain't never seen proof myself of any miracles or shit. Alright, weirdass shit happens on the island, but this place is fucked up. This ain't normal, and I think that much is goddamn obvious. So, fuck. Why'd I even bother answerin' this, since I ain't givin' up anything interesting?
2. Do you believe in existence after death?
Now that, fuck, I believe in. Not in the whole ghost type of shit, but I think just 'cause we influence other people during our lives and whatnot, we're bound ta have some influence after we die. Think it's pretty easy ta see that my parents existed ta me in all the important ways fer a longass time after they died.
Now, again, I think there might be somethin' different going on on the island. But it might be more like us reflectin' those influences out on the impressionable world of the island and gettin' echoes back, thinkin' we're actually communicatin' or hearin' those dead. I think some sorta pyschic shit is more likely than dead people actually haunting us and shit.
