so im thinkinng back to like 2004ish, partying like we did back then.. has anything really changed? obviously the world has changed, the social acceptence of drug use isnt really there anymore but im sitting here watching The Drug Years and it mirrors our lives with the only difference being the era. i think people are always gonna be searching for that higher level. the whole 'drug free america' and 'just say no' thing came and went, and i am a product of that time period and it didnt do a whole lot of good. they really pushed that onto us in like k-5 but then everything stopped. the vital years to have that education in my opinion would be like 6-12graders. im just speaking from personal experience. but im thinking if that would even do any difference. people will always be curious. people are getting addicted to all sorts of drugs and doing unspeakable things to get them. was it like that back in the 60s? maybe it just wasnt spoken about? or was it really all new and all about peace & love? hmm wait hold onto that thought. what is the 2000-2010 gonna be labeled as? the pharmacutical years. ha. between oc's, zanies, adderall and the such, kids are getting addicted all over the place before they even know any better. before society as a whole knew any better. same as in the 60's with lsd, and with cocaine and crack use in the 80's and 90's. BOOM. and its an epidemic before you know it. meth is at an all time high to the point that by law you need to ask the pharmacy attendent for the sudafed thats kept behind the counter and there is a limit onto how boxes one person can buy. but painkillers are easily bought over the internet and shipped right to your home at an slight higher cost then taking a ride to east orange or newark but lets be serious, its all the same shit!
