Today was a good day

Ahh today has been a good day... How funny I should say that, as I have a shirt with Kermit the Frog on it that reads: "Today was a good day" and I have a habit of wearing this particular shirt for 6 of the 7 days each week. Basically, every day is a good day, and by the 6th day of wearing the shirt, my girls febreeze me just to rid me of the smell. But anyway, today I got all of my reports done and I had 2 very lazy/tired lessons because I was still half asleep. Then I had an AWESOME lunch (baked and stuffed potato PLUS chicken noodle soup) then I got my banquet cards done and went into Hanover with Amy. We saw the Bourne Ultimatum and it was also AWESOME. It had one of the best fight scenes I have ever seen in a movie and I really liked the ending. THEN I went to Molly's for one last time for dinner and had Fish and Chips and it was really nice. Amy and I then came back to camp and I spoke to my mum for an hour (hoorah) then we borrowed Emily's car once more and went for a drive to Lake Morley which was really nice. And just now, I arrived back in Thistle (staff lodge) to see they have started a fire, which is awesome cos my toes are numb. It's hard to believe it is summer here... we freeze at night times, but swim in the lake and sunbake during the day. Awesome weather.

Tomorrow will be a lazy day because I cannot hike, but I need to move 2 boxes of pots and pans back into the OAP shed then start packing up all my girls' belongings. They all have big, messy trunks that I need to clean out... you would not believe the amount of stuff 13 y.o. girls take to a summer camp for a month. It's so sad that I am losing my girls again after what feels like only days. They have soooo not been here for an entire month. I am excited that I am moving to a new cabin for Mini-Camp though. The girls are ehre for just a week to see if they enjoy the camp experience, and I am moving to Junior line, where I will have 7 y.o. girls for a week AND.... (drumroll)....... MY OWN BED!!! Yay for not sleeping on a bunk bed. Every time the child under me rolls over, my entire bed sways. It is most unpleasant, and after 2 months of sleeping on a top bunk, I am ready for some space of my own.

After mini camp I am heading off to New York for a few days, then I am going up to Montreal for another few days until I can move into my college dorm room. I am soooo excited. I may or may not have a room mate. Change is in the air... and I am so excited. Okay, severely lacking sleep now. I haven't had more than 8 hours sleep since I arrived in the states... that's not a good thing, is it? On the up side, I have not yet had to take any children to the hospital. Hoorah!!!!
