It's been awhile. Not a surprise. June 1st was Michael's 19th Birthday. I was so excited. I stayed in Jackson a couple of days before his birthday so i could get him a present. I thought about getting him different things, but they were all things he would have expected. So I looked at rings (cause a married man is going to need a ring). Well I found the perfect one. It's white gold and has a cross of diamonds on it. Then there's these leafy sort of things on the sides. I was pretty excited about it because I knew he'd like it a lot. It just fits him. Well I couldn't even wait to give it to him. So his mom and I made a deal: if she could give him one of hers then I could give mine. So I gave him the card in private first. Oh yeah! I forgot I made the card. I went to walmart and got blue and green scrapbook paper (cause it's thicker) and got some pens and stickers. The stickers are really cute. I put one that said "I'm gonna marry that boy someday" by my favorite picture of him. On the outside is this picture we call the "sleeping beauty" picture. It's a picture I sneakily took of him kissing me when we were laying down once. I blurred around our faces so it looks like a dream thing. That's my other favorite picture.

Michael and I went on the pedal boats. He'd been wanting to do that. That was tons of fun too. We were sitting there not moving so we could see fish. We tried to get them to come to our fingers, but that didn't happen. It was so cool though, they got real close to us. I saw a huge turtle too. Michael thought he saw an otter, but it was just a muskrat I guess. Wish it was an otter, they're awesome! Well, he had a good birthday and I'm really glad he did.

On May 21st (I think that's what it was) my cousin Jesse got married to his now wife Jessica. They fit each other perfectly. It was a real cute, short ceremony. They had an ok reception too. But I would have to say it was the bonfire at their house that all the drunks went to that made it more fun. My cousin Dusty got drunk and it was pretty funny. At one point he tried to have a clear thought, but he said it didn't work. Funniest thing to watch someone try that. lol. On the other hand my brother tried to get drunk but it wasn't working out. ha. I think Michael and I were the only ones that weren't drinking besides the dogs. It was good times though.
