I had a great moment yesterday. For Christmas, my dad bought me a #91 Ryan Kerrigan Redskins jersey, women's size large. I could barely get it over my boobs or raise my arms. It constantly rode up around my hips and was really tight over my belly button. It was supper depressing. My dad kept offering to return it for something different, but I refused. I didn't WANT to wear a bigger size. I wanted to wear THAT SHIRT. That's kind of when I made the firm decision to start taking this seriously.
So yesterday was the draft day party at FedEx Field. I wore my Kerrigan jersey and it fit GREAT. This is the best 8 lbs of my life. Apparently I lost it all in my shoulders and boobs. I felt SOOOO GOOOD. To actually FEEL a difference. It makes me want to get up and work out the rest of the afternoon. Well, not really because I'm really sick right now, but when I get over this cold/sinus infection/Hell, I am hitting it so. hard.
