one in a trillian....!
When I was last on Rescreatu, my Respals (Rescreatu pals) and I got to talking about instant messaging. Since they're international (some live in the US, some in Australia, some in the UK, some from Hong Kong, and there are even two from Austria and Thailand), they mostly use AIM or MSN. I was one of the few using Yahoo Messenger since that is the more prevalent client in use in the Philippines.
Anyway, I was also using Meebo, but for some reason Meebo kept failing to log in my Yahoo Messenger account, and Yahoo Mail was
also obstinately refusing to load, despite the fact that my Globe Visibility stats were registering strong signals and other sites were loading fast, even YouTube.
So Starseed (Austria) and Geo (USA) suggested Trillian. I didn't know what the heck it was so I Googled it and it was a chat client so I said, ah, okay. But then when I downloaded it, it was a chat client, yes, but it was also like Meebo in that you could sign in all your different accounts from different IMs at the same time. Like Skype, it was also customizable.
Whee, yes, I loves it. Gotta try it out some more when I get home tonight.
