busted
so... i was trying to rearrange my desk.. for no good reason. and my external hard drive dropped. i didn't think twice of it.. it looks so sturdy. but it doesn't work any more. greg can't get it to read at all. we called a couple of companies about recovering from a physically busted HD and they say the estimated price to have it fixed is eight hundred dollars. i'm not sure if it's worth that or not. but i know we can't pay that right now for a hard drive that doesn't have any time sensitive files on it.. but what it does have is every full size picture i've taken of lucas for the last last four years. considering that lucas is only 3.5, yes, it includes sonograms and pregnancy pictures. yes, i am seriously wishing i wasn't lazy about keeping up with my website. and uploading pictures up to webpicasa, etc... it also has everything... well.. everything me, crafts and programs and pictures of the past.. well, ever.
so we start anew.. here are two pictures i took of lucas today for his 43rd month. he has grown 4 inches in the past year so i'm glad i've been taking it so frequently. he's like 43" and over 41lbs.
