I've watched many anime during the Summer season. Some of them were very good, some others a little meh, but I guess right now I just want to spend a few words about what I saw.
Sorry for my bad english, btw.
Akame ga Kill! is not ending soon, so I can’t talk about the anime all together. I found it kinda cool by far, but I was a little disappointed by the fact that, from what I read before the anime was aired, it should have been an emotionally hurting show, but I never felt sad for any character’s death by now. But yeah, let’s see what it has to offer during the Autumn season.
Aldnoah.Zero. Yeah, Aldnoah. How can I talk about it without being overly emotional? I can’t. I’m not gonna say anything about the ending of this first cour tho, ‘cause I’ve read enough shitty posts on the Tumblr tag and now I’m totally done. The only things I want to say is that I will definitely watch Season 2 on January, ‘cause it’s a great show (but if you haven’t watched it yet please wait December, it’s for your own safety, you don’t want to end up like me waiting impatiently three months to see how the show is going on). Uh, and now I can recognise every single track of the OST because I’ve been listening to it for a month nonstop. Damn you Sawano.
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei! I enjoyed the first season and I enjoyed this season as well (or at least the first part of it, since it looks like there’s the other half season coming up we don’t know when in 2015). Nothing more actually. To be honest, I’m far more hyped for Fate/Stay Night UBW.
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Probably the best show I’ve seen this season. It was hilarious and characters were just perfect. I seriously love everyone and I can’t even decide who’s my favorite. I loved it so much I read all the available manga chapters in three days. My hope for a second season is strong.
Hanamonogatari. I really like Kanbaru, she’s my favorite Monogatari girl along with Senjougahara and it was great having an arc told from her point of view. Also the story was pretty cool. What I didn’t like was Araragi’s long hair. That was a big no.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure - Stardust Crusaders. I started watching Jojo ‘cause my boyfriend really likes it. And I like it too, but not as much to start reading the manga (witch is far too long for my standards). So I can’t wait to see the second season in January. Wow looks like I’ll have to watch a lot of second seasons coming up in January.
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus. I didn’t like at all the second part of the First and the entire Second season, but this was quite good. It followed the manga, which I genuinely like, so… well done.
Persona 4 Golden The Animation. First episodes were funny, but the fact is, I never really cared for Marie and I’m a bit sad about how much this is different from the game. The only episodes that I was really, really glad to see were the ones about Adachi. God, I love Adachi.
Sailor Moon Crystal. I’ve never been a fan of Sailor Moon, not because I didn’t like it, but because I didn’t get to watch it when I was a child. Here in Italy was airing in the afternoon when most of the kids had already came back from school. Most of the kids but not me. So I decided to watch this new adaptation and I found it pretty good considering its ages. And, well, I laughed a little during the overly dramatic romantic scenes, but this is probably Nozaki’s fault.
Sword Art Online 2. The first part (Gun Gale Online) was definitely better than ALfheim Online, but, yeah, it’s still SAO we’re talking about: the scene when I got excited the most was the one where I spotted
Tales of Zestiria’s advertisement. I’m not joking.
Tokyo Ghoul. It’s definitely not perfect and there was far too much censorship, but I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to read the manga, which, according to those who have read it, is much better. Plus the opening was AMAZING.
Zankyou no Terror. I liked it, I enjoyed the characters, the soundtrack was stunning, the ending was heartbreaking, but… I guess there was something missing. I couldn’t find a focus in the story or, for example, what’s the point of Lisa as a character. I don’t know. Maybe if they had more episodes they could have done more.
