Spanking
So, I am attempting to find a good story to read, preferably in the SVM/True Blood genre, but I'm up for anything... as long as it's not Twilight.
I was reading a story, liked it so I was checking out what the author had written (all Twilight) so then I went to their favorite stories. As I was reading down a lot of them had "warning: contains spanking" But they're not rated M... there was one Bones story, and it said contains spanking... I decided to investigate. Apparently these "warning: contains spanking" stories aren't really the fun kind of spanking, in a sexual manner... no this is like "oh son you've been bad and now I will correct your behavior with spanking" kind of stories, from what I can tell...
This is the summary for one of them (Twilight, rated T):
Charlie had nothing but praise for the Cullen kids at first: "They're all very mature - I haven't had one speck of trouble from any of them." But just how did those daredevil teens learn to avoid trouble? WARNING: Corporal punishment, i.e. spanking.
I am not saying that I am in any way for or against corporal punishment (okay well yah kinda against it in most situations), but it is kind of weird that people are writing fics about it... and apparently there's a whole like community for it. On this person's profile I've seen Bones, Twilight, and even a Star Trek (2009) (Bones spanking Kirk in a fatherly manner...didn't read it was in the summary). I don't know... it's weird to me... yet fics with BDSM like relationships aren't weird to me... so I guess each their own. But I also feel like spanking minors in a fic is almost like wrong... I don't know, why would you read/write about it... I'm sure there are reasons I'm just missing... Myeh.
