(no subject)
We had our NTT (nuchal translucency test) screen yesterday and got a glowing result. What a huge relief to know that the baby is apparently healthy (at least so far as Down, tri 18 and many cardiac defects). I will get the results of the blood work in a few days and will know more but all looks great!
We got to see the baby in 4D as well. Very cute little thing. The heart was beating away! My next US is the Level II on January 24.
I have 5 Christmas parties to go to in the next 2 weekends. I am still in all my normal clothes (I'm 12w2d today) but I just feel thick, kwim? Like I'm bloated and have just had a huge lunch. So some of my "fancy" clothes just don't sound so great right now. Ugh.
I have to go to Denver today to the office and I will probably tell my boss. I'm hoping he is happy for me and not immediately concerned about the trial date (that we don't have yet) in my primary case (the one we are waiting on a ruling from the Fed Cir.)
