[This is Larry with a basketful of sleeping kitten and a worried and somewhat anxious look on his face.

Knock knock.]

[lawyerific]

[Phoenix lets him in with a wary smile, stepping back to make room for him.]

Hey Larry, it's good to see you.

[troublesmells]

Hey, Nick. [He holds up the basket first before entering; the orange and white kitten remains asleep.] By the way, this is Geliebte. Also known as Gellie.

[Only then does he step inside.]

She looks just like you, Larry. I think Miles is asleep in the other room, and Edgeworth isn't here yet. Do you want something to drink?

[troublesmells]

She does? [He laughs, and whispers to his kitten.] Well, we ARE family!

What'cha got to drink?

[lawyerific]

Um...well I have these special drinks that the doctor gave me, but there's coffee, tea, water, fruit juice, grape juice and cheap beer.

[troublesmells]

Why are they special?

[lawyerific]

Well they're full of all the stuff I need so my liver is ready to transplant, you know? I don't think they'd do you much good, but they do make me miss coffee.

[troublesmells]

Oh.

I'll just have...the fruit juice. And maybe a small bowl of water for Gellie in case she wakes up. A plastic bowl.

[lawyerific]

Alright. Just find somewhere to sit and try to avoid Miles' chair. I'll be with you in a minute.

[He vanishes off to the kitchen.]

Which one IS his chair? [He sets down the basket and scratches his head, wondering which chair was safe to occupy.]

[lawyerific]

[Phoenix comes back with the drinks before Larry's done, frowning at him.]

Uh... You didn't know where to sit? Miles' is the one covered in kitten fluff.

[troublesmells]

Well, what if he just uses one chair for sitting and the other for shedding?

[But he flops onto the nearest, fluff-free chair.]

[lawyerific]

[Phoenix hands over the glass, smiling.]

I wonder what's keeping Edgeworth? Though I guess they've been waiting a while to talk to Yaha... Oh yeah.

[troublesmells]
