The Video is DONE!!!
It's done, and, if I may say so myself, kicks some ass (in a very non-professional sort of way). We eliminated three songs from it, because we didn't have enough pictures for an 8 minute video, so that made my life MUCH simpler. Also, I found a good program called Audacity, to edit songs. It's pretty simple to use. Windows Movie Maker is also simple and fun to use. So, once I had the bleepin songs, it went faster than I expected.
Thank you to everyone who helped me. Thanks to supermom20 who listened to me bitch throughout the entire process and who kept going back to get different version of the songs. Thank you to everyone who sent me songs, you were life savers (and yes, you can be any flavor you want). Thanks to misswitch for mocking my pain yet somehow keeping my spirits up.
Now, maybe I can get some actual work done, and maybe get my Watcher's First ficathon entry in on time.
My in-laws arrive from Florida tomorrow night. They're staying through Sunday. The house is somewhat clean. Ever since the cleaning lady vanished into the night, it takes more and more effort to clean. But, their sheets are washed, the floors are vacuumed, and the bathroom is respectable. What more do they need?
One week and two days until Vegas. The countdown has begun!
