Whenever I leave my home, with my family that is, I turn off every light in the house. So, it would be safe to say that we honored earth hour in my small corner of this world. At the designated time however, we were at my mother's, who franticly turned off each light as seconds literally counted down to eight o'clock. Of course, I helped. My dad, who runs the business out of an office attached to their home was unwilling. I tried to reason with him, I really did. Anyway, we left at ten past to see that few people on her street had followed suit, but it was refreshing that people did in fact care. As we exited her neighborhood and made our way out onto the main road, I noticed that earth day was only for those who had the time for it. But what would we do without our street and traffic lights? Maybe lack of ambition had something to do with it. Not one store seemed to notice. To be honest, life has made me so cynical and dependent that I got over it before the hour was up and surrendered from within that if we should arrive home before nine, that yes I would allow the children to watch some of the Nick awards. But we didn't get home until five past, which was expected. We took the strip home and had forgotten it was a Saturday, the ass end of Spring Break and the many drunkards at the beach who j-RUN across the street in pacific ave traffic. mother fuckers.
That was a painfully boring post but for now that is all I have for you. Keep it safe, doll babehz.
