The show, eh.. I don't usually watch tv so I don't think I'll be catching it, but if I do have the chance I'm gonna have a look see. Your tastes are very good after all.
As for the poem, it can be taken a few ways, in the context of drugs or alcohol I can see about the turning away from it.
But since I have never gone that way, mostly out of fear of it. It is almost akin to saying good bye to a lover or very dear friend. That it could be both, or one or the other passing on. And in part a thank you, as in that being with the other made it more bareable. Or Dream like. When our minds wander to happy thoughs in sleep it's usualy refered to as a dream, while as bad thoughts become a nightmare.

i'm not truly trying to promote the show. i just felt overwhelmed with so many thoughts on it, i had to share. but i wouldn't direct any one to NOT watch it, so yeah. hehe. do you watch "Top Chef" by any chance? it's on Bravo.

I've been told of the show, but I've never had the chance to watch it, either I'm working, or lost in World of Warcraft...
Hehe, and yes. I admit I have an addiction to coffee/caffine. Mind you it's partly like, a mental thing more then a physical one. I don't feel crapy if I go with out it, but I miss it, the feel and taste of coffee. Or a Capachino or espresso... It's also part of like a near ritual, seeing people, relaxing and haveing chit chat and such. It's given me an insight on smokers, there is the physical addiction, but also there is a socal aspect to it that goes hand in hand. Like most work enviromints are smoke free, where you have to leave the building to have a puff. Well here, all of them are like that. But yeada yeada... the action to go out, ave a puff, see the same faces around, there's a sence of kinship in there that you can't deny.
But I'm going off on a tangent out of being tired.

And btw I was always partal to Poe's Eldorado. I don'tknow why exactly I just liked it.

i love most of Poe's work, and Eldorado is one of them. there is so much intRigue in his poems, don't you think? ah, but when i was young, i loved Evening Star, because I was heavy into astromony and thought it was solely about Venus. nothing more. LOL. speaking of which, didn't we all just love The Raven? ;)

Most of my friends smoke so, I'm not offended by it really. Sometimes when I'm at work and getting short tempored, seeing non sucky people go for a puff I just comment "I'm going to go for a watch people smoke break...."
