Or Winifred Fontana. :-) He called her "a special person, with the gift of feeling", and she was clearly smitten with him in those heady days at Carchemish. His letters home mentioned her frequently-- Mrs Fontana this, Mrs Fontana that. Her contribution to TE Lawrence by his Friends was yoinked after the first edition: a little too frankly loving for her husband's taste, perhaps. :-D

Someone could surely work up something there. FORBIDDEN LOVE OMG.
