Nice things I got in the post yesterday (but only opened today):
Following my LJ appeal for letters, Bettie sent me this:
A letter, a bookmark, and tea! Thanks Bettie!
Everyone else should send me stuff!
Books via Greenmetropolis. I love Greenmetropolis. They hardly ever have the books I want, but I look everyday for certain authors and then snap the stuff up when it appears. Basically, for them wot don't know - it's kind of like Amazon Marketplace, except all books are £3.75 including postage (they keep 75p, so if you sell you get £3 for the book and it's postage) and 5p of the 75p goes to The Woodland Trust.
No one belongs here more than you by Miranda July and Twentieth Century EightBall by Daniel Clowes. Both are in As New condition. I have saved £7.58 (not including postage) by buying them there instead of Amazon. Yays. I love Daniel Clowes and Miranda July. I think they should have babies together.
Also, I bought this weird chicken/bird/thing from The Pier on Sunday. It's made out of glazed terracotta and very heavy. It was £1.50ish in their sale. I was drawn too it, even though it's odd and not very pretty. I don't know why I love it so.
My phone camera has made everything look funny. Boo.
