I finally have the internet in Derby yay

No more trips to the library, just to check my mail..and I've just been looking stuff up for my exam this afternoon whilst in the comfort of my own room. Loverrrly.

I had an exam yesterday, on Notions of authorship in the 17th Century. It went alright, but I don't think I had enough to write. People were getting extra pages for their answer books..and I'd only written a handful. Oh well.

Todays exam question is, "Discuss how South Asian writers use their chosen form to engage with and debate issues". I'm going to fuck this one up. I have to write on a film and a novel, and I haven't read the novel, Brick Lane by Monica Ali, which I have to write about. Google is my friend. I'm going to write about East Is East, which I've seen many many many times, so at least I will have a lot to pad out with there.

So, what else? New Years Eve was a write-off for me. I was ill and had to go to bed early, so missed seeing it in. I am an old lady, but to be fair, I am not a fan of New Years, so I don't think I really missed much.

I will update later, now I have this new fangled internet super highway fingy.
